Marque One Detailing Take “Best in Class” At the 2021 London Concourse

Marque One Detailing showed their winning pedigree again at the London Concourse held at the Honourable Artillery Company.

As winners of the Salon Prive in 2018, and The Hampton Court Concourse in 2019. We have teamed up with our partners Export 56 to win “Best in Class” in the “Great Marquis Class” . This 1956 Porsche 356 1500 GS Carrera – RHD, which is looked after by our friends at Export 56 .

This magnificent 356 Porsche, which is in itself a rarity, is the first ever “Right Hand Drive” 356 to have been built. This Porsche 356 is 1 of only 10 right hand drive models that were ever built.

However, this 356, was one of only 2 RHD’s built in Zufferhausen in November 1955, to UK specification. The vehicle was subsequently delivered to AFN UK in February 1956, and was used as their demonstrator vehicle until March 1957.

Marque One Detailing, where asked to prepare this very classy lady for the 2021 London Concourse show. When you get the chance to work on such a “thoroughbred” like this lady, it is always a pleasure and an honour.

We carried out one of our a tailor-made concourse detailing package for this particular Classic. As part of this package, this included a many of hours polishing, cleaning, with the application of layers of wax.

The results of the depth of finish and presentation that has been achieved, speaks for itself. This was duly acknowledged and recognised by the judges
