Classic Bentley T1 Receives A bit of Marque One Detailing Magic
This Classic Bentley T1 came into our detailing studio and received a bit of Marque One Detailing magic, which included a full two stage polish and interior detail.
But first we carried out are usual a full wash and decontamination, which was followed by paint depth gauge readings and a test spot before the machine polishing could take place.
This Classic Bentley T1 underwent a two-stage polish application to bring the paint back to life and defect free.
As there were no major surface scratches on the surface of this classic, however, this beautiful classic Bentley T1 was covered in swirls and etching.
Extra care was going to have to be taken when working on this particular paint surface, due to the thinness of the paint.
Thin paint surfaces are not uncommon when working on cars of this age and pedigree, particularly as this classic has a black paint surface, which tends to show up any surface defects.
We carried out the following on this work on the exterior of this Classic Bentley T1 before we turned our attention to sorting out the interior of this amazing car.
However, before we could start work on bring the paint work of this Classic Bentley T1 back to its former pristine best, we had to carry out our standard pre detailing inspection and preparation.
Which included a full decontamination, before we could start on the paint correction process.
Before Restoring & Rejuvenating The Paintwork, The Following Work Was Carried Out
Hand washing.
Drying,
In depth decontamination,
Inspection.
Paint depth readings,
Post polishing inspection,
Selection of Sealants, and Waxes
When the above was completed, we were able to then start the process of restoring and rejuvenating the paintwork of this vehicle as part of a “Paint Correction” process.
This process is achieved by mostly through the elimination of surface imperfections, that dull, oxidize, or haze the surface by reflecting light off in various directions, therefore detracting from a true, proper, clean and sharp reflection
When we had completed the “Paint Correction” and “Two Stage” process, we then turned our attention to the interior of this amazingly beautiful Bentley.
As part of the interior refurbishment package undertaken, the car’s interior upholstery, interior panels, carpets and dash board were all cleaned and refreshed as part of the refurbishment package that was undertaken as part of the over all detailing package that was carried out.
