Rare Lexus LFA Comes In For Some Marque One Detailing Magic
A little bit of background into The Lexus LFA first, which is a two-seat sports car manufactured by Lexus, the luxury car division of Toyota.
After beginning development in the early 2000s (with a codename of TXS), the first LF-A concept premiered in 2005, followed in 2007 by a second concept with a more completely furnished interior and exterior.
The third version of the LF-A, featuring a roadster body style premiered in 2008. The production model, trademarked LFA, was unveiled at the Tokyo Motor Show in October 2009.
This very rare Lexus, of which there where only 500 manufactured, came into our detailing studio for a full ceramic coating application, as well as having a full “front end” PPF package applied.
However, before we could start to work our magic, we carried out our standard “Pre Detailing” inspection and decontamination process, which consists of the following prior to any application of our Paint protection packages
The following steps are undertaken to ensure that you are more than satisfied with the result.
Hand washing, Drying, In depth decontamination,
Paint depth readings, Pad and polish choice.
Following on from the preparation stage, we used Suntek PPF for the front end, after a full polish, and the exposed rear was fully coated for protection and gloss.
The PPF was then coated with a special “PPF ceramic” for a gloss finish and extra protection
The wheels were removed and coated, as were the callipers.
The panoramic roof and glass were again fully polished prior to two coats of glass coating being applied to all of the glass area’s of this Lexus.
