However before we could start work on bring paint work of this Audi RS6 back to its former pristine best, we had to carry out our standard pre detailing inspection and preparation.

Which included a full decontamination, including the following, before we could start on the paint correction process.

Washing

Hand washing, Drying, In depth decontamination,

Inspection

Paint depth readings, Pad and polish choice,

Post polishing inspection.

Sealants. Waxes,

We then cleaned the engine bay, which was probably the hardest part, as access is very restricted, plus we will not use water on these older classics cars.

In addition the arches wheels and tyres were all cleaned and dressed, we then completed a full interior clean.

This was then followed by a full deep clean of all of the walnut areas, then finished off with a full polish to bring out the amazing grain within the walnut panels.

Silky smooth V12 that started on the first turn of the key every time.

When the above was completed, we were able to then start the process of restoring and rejuvenating the paintwork of a vehicle as part of a “Paint Correction” process.

This process is mostly through the elimination of surface imperfections, that dull, oxidize, or haze the surface by reflecting light off in various directions, therefore detracting from a true and proper, clean, sharp, reflection.

We then applied Modesta P1 primer and BC – 06 to both the all of the painted areas, finished off with a coat of BC – 05 applied to the windows and paint work to give added protection and insane shine.

We then moved onto the roof, which was washed, deep cleaned, sealed and left to dry over night, which was  then fully covered ready in preparation for polishing, of the chrome work and touch ins.
